Role Overview
This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will support the design, development and fabrication of space launch vehicles and components to support human spaceflight programs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, planning, and project management skills.
The Sr Program Manager position at Blue Origin offers an outstanding opportunity to directly impact the history of space exploration! You will drive execution across manufacturing and operations programs within a high-velocity aerospace production environment, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and day-to-day execution.
Focus & Domain Expertise
The JARVIS Team focuses on welding & fabrication, machining, final integration and testing of tooling, prototypes and special projects. Special projects include the refurb of landing platforms, fabrication and integration of launch infrastructure hardware around the country and support various testing platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the complete delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives involving manufacturing, supply chain, and program teams.
- Translate operational strategy into executable plans with clear achievements, owners, and dependencies.
- Drive schedule integrity by identifying risks, resolving constraints, and ensuring alignment across all collaborators.
- Collaborate with Work Center Leaders, Engineering, and Program teams to handle both baseline demand and emergent work.
- Establish and maintain mechanisms for tracking progress, risks, and performance (schedule, cost, efficiency).
- Facilitate decision-making by providing clear, data-driven insights to leadership.
- Own communication rhythm (tier meetings, executive updates, cross-functional syncs).
- Drive accountability across teams through structured follow-up and addressing blocking issues when needed.
- Support CapEx planning and operational readiness initiatives tied to production scaling.
- Lead change management efforts to integrate new processes, tools, or program requirements.

- Experience managing high-velocity production or integration environments.
- Skilled in translating strategy → plan → execution (SPE approach).

- Clear, concise communicator across all levels (shop floor → exec).
- Ability to handle both tactical details and strategic alignment at the same time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field, or 5 years with relevant project management experience in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years in program/project management in manufacturing or operations.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong communication and collaborator management skills.
- 5+ years supply chain, logistics, scheduling, demand planning, or planning experience.
- Experience with activities related to planning and/or scheduling.
- Experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office, MES experience with MRP execution desired.
- Excellent written/verbal communications skills.
- Demonstrates understanding and can apply continuous improvement terminology/tools: LEAN, Six Sigma principles/DFSS/Lean design principles, Value Stream, and Kaizen is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace or high-complexity manufacturing experience.
- Experience with schedule management tools, EVMS, or production systems.

- Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical.
