Description:

The TLS Head of Strategy is responsible for partnering with TLS senior leadership with developing and executing the LoB and market segment strategic vision in alignment with RMS and LM strategic objectives. Responsibilities will include strategic planning, allocation, and management of LoB business growth resources (IRAD, B&P, etc.), creating and executing a proactive portfolio shaping and resource management process, collaboration across RMS and Lockheed Martin, and overall thought leadership on TLS strategic initiatives. Primary responsibilities include: developing and executing the long term strategic vision for the TLS portfolio by identifying internal and external strategic issues that could enable growth and profitability for the RMS & LM enterprise. Additionally, the Head of Strategy directs analyses of business opportunities, market and financial analyses of major business investment and portfolio shaping decisions culminating in recommendations to leadership of courses of action to further business objectives.

Strong organization, presentation and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with, influence and lead cross functional teams
Demonstrated ability to lead teams
Strong business acumen
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with strategic planning processes and lifecycle
Experience with budget and investment management

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
