What You Will Do:

As a Program Manager, you will lead end-to-end program execution across the full product lifecycle—from concept through delivery and sustainment. You will be responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring flawless execution, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business and customer objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products and services with new market capabilities
  • Managing programs across their lifecycle while driving alignment and synergy across business units
  • Owning execution across cost, schedule, technical performance, risk management, manufacturing, product support, and quality
  • Developing program investment strategies, business cases, and growth plans aligned with organizational objectives
  • Identifying and mitigating risks with robust financial and schedule recovery plans
  • Driving supply chain resilience and ensuring delivery assurance targets are consistently achieved

This role reports directly to the Portfolio Director and serves as a key member of the leadership team.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Proven leadership experience, directly or through matrixed teams
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
