As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role, driving the success of some of the most advanced avionics solutions in the industry while shaping the future of aerospace technology.
As a Program Manager, you will lead end-to-end program execution across the full product lifecycle—from concept through delivery and sustainment. You will be responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring flawless execution, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business and customer objectives.
What You Will Do:
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products and services with new market capabilities
- Managing programs across their lifecycle while driving alignment and synergy across business units
- Owning execution across cost, schedule, technical performance, risk management, manufacturing, product support, and quality
- Developing program investment strategies, business cases, and growth plans aligned with organizational objectives
- Identifying and mitigating risks with robust financial and schedule recovery plans
- Driving supply chain resilience and ensuring delivery assurance targets are consistently achieved
- This role reports directly to the Portfolio Director and serves as a key member of the leadership team.
- Ability to travel up to 10%

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Proven leadership experience, directly or through matrixed teams
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering program planning, and program execution
- Avionics experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated strength in both strategic thinking and operational execution
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
