You will be the Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) Program Manager for the JASSM Program Team. Our team is responsible for delivering cross-functional projects, transitioning missile development into production, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

What You Will Be Doing

As the JASSM Program Manager you will be responsible for leading the Transition to Production (T2P) scope for the JASSM B-3 and D cut-in, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance across engineering, supply chain, and operations.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute T2P activities on schedule and within budget.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with the USAF, suppliers, and internal program functional leads.
  • Integrate engineering, supply chain, and operations to drive cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor and report program performance metrics, addressing risks proactively.
  • Facilitate seamless transition from development to production phases.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Project lead, Cost Account Management (CAM), PI, subcontract manager or demonstrated ability to lead a project start to finish within a defined cost and schedule.
  • Proven aptitude to maintain excellent customer relationships
  • Experience as a Cost Account Manager
  • Experience with risk and opportunity management
  • Experience in proposal management process
  • Experience with development projects
  • Ability to multi-task and coordinate / manage multiple contracts/projects simultaneously
  • Cross functional team management
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with track record of presenting to internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated self-starter who can take initiative and work independently with minimal direction and oversight
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with the JASSM program and USAF customer
  • Experience with Production / Transition to Production contracts
  • Experience writing and statements of work and drafting Integrated Master Plans (IMPs), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
  • Knowledge of program and financial measurements (orders, sales, EBIT and cash)
  • Knowledge of DoD contract types (CPFF, FFP, CPIF, etc.)
  • Knowledge and/or experience with missile systems
  • Experience with working with major suppliers with significant program scope
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated maturity, judgement, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering results in fluid or ambiguous situations

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
