You will be the JASSM/LRASM Sr Staff Project Management & Planning Operations Representative for the Program Management Team. Our team is responsible for managing and synchronizing JASSM/LRASM FMS Production Operations across manufacturing, design engineering, test engineering, and procurement.

What You Will Be Doing

As the JASSM/LRASM Sr Staff Project Management & Planning Operations Representative you will be responsible for leading production operations and ensuring alignment across multiple disciplines.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as FMS production lead, coordinating schedules, costs, and quality.
  • Lead production operations affordability initiatives for JASSM/LRASM.
  • Represent Production Operations at corrective action, configuration change, risk, and planning boards.
  • Facilitate proposal strategy and inputs for production operations.
  • Oversee facility needs for FMS production.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Candidate should have 8 years of experience in a production environment with Test, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning & Control and Quality.

Understanding and experience in the production life cycle development, transition to production, and ramp to production rate.

Ability to recognize and drive critical path in the supply chain for system level integration and delivery, able to develop and execute work around and or mitigation plans for issues as they arise.

Knowledge and experience with the Capital Process from planning, justifications for capital projects, and leading capital projects.

Candidate should be capable of being articulate and adaptable in Communications and Presentation skills for different levels of management as well as external customers.

This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with an investigation date within 5 years, therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen.

Desired Skills:

Experience with and knowledge of processes used in machining, optical, electronic and final missile assembly, coupled with an established network and knowledge of the support team structure in the Ocala and Troy Production Centers.

Technical knowledge and experience in System Integration and Test of electronic assemblies and missile All Up Round build.

Experience and credibility with executing projects with reporting to senior management

Individual must have the ability to independently execute task with self-confidence, decisiveness urgency and drive.

Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRA) and Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR).

LSS Black Belt, CPIM, PMP certified

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
