Job Description

You will be a Production Operations Project Manager supporting Apache Longbow FCR and Apache mTADS program within the Rotary Wing Sensors (RWS) portfolio. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑quality products to our customers, meeting quality, cost, and schedule commitments, and driving operational excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

As a part of the Production Operations project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of production, serving as a liaison between program management, cross‑functional teams, and factory leadership. You will also partner with our joint‑venture partners and engage with customers to drive program success.

  • Coordinate daily priorities and execute plans to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments.
  • Develop and lead cross‑functional teams to achieve program goals.
  • Partner with program management, factory leadership, and other partners to drive operational excellence.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure program success.
  • Meet financial commitments and drive business growth.

Basic Qualifications: Experience in precision / highly-regulated, production, manufacturing, and/or manufacturing environments Technical background and experience in engineering, project management, supply chain, and/or production planning and control Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization to build consensus, champion change, and deliver results Ability to achieve objectives through influence and indirect leadership Desired Skills: Experience with Apache MTADS or Apache Longbow FCR products Project management training or certification Aerospace and Defense production experience Lean Six Sigma green belt or black belt Familiarity with AS9100 and other defense quality standards Industrial Engineering OLDP Graduate Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
