We are seeking talented Industrial engineers to join our team to help develop many best-in-class products and solutions in our Missiles & Fire Control Business Area in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities:

  • Support Performance Management Team (PMT) in basic performance metric analysis, productivity improvement identification and solution implementation.
  • Conduct required process reviews (time-studies), cost reduction, process/product flow analysis, and capacity utilization studies. Develop and assist team in executing modifications based on desired results.
  • Responsible for program floor layout planning and implementation.
  • Candidate must be customer-focused with good oral and written communication skills. Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work effectively team and all levels of management.
  • Candidate should be a self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and results.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited college.
  • Familiar with Facility Layouts, Time Studies, Simulation and lean principles.
  • Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Desired Skills:

  • Familiar with basic Industrial Engineering competencies.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Have learning disposition, inquisitive, self starter, with good people skills.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
