THE WORK
- The role requires at least two years of harness-board experience, strong proficiency with crimping tools, and the ability to perform continuity and insulation testing, soldering, and torque verification; space-addendum experience is also preferred.
- The assembler will sit or stand at the harness board for up to 10 hours per shift, must be able to lift up to 30 lb, work safely in a production environment, and consistently achieve high first-pass yield, accurate wire-cut tolerance, and on-time delivery while supporting continuous-improvement and prototype work.

WHO YOU ARE
You are seeking a Harness Board Assembler who can build high-density wire-to-board assemblies by interpreting complex wiring diagrams and engineering drawings, cutting wires to precise lengths, and using Molex and Daniels crimp tools (preferred) to terminate contacts, install connectors, and torque backshells to meet Class 3 IPC/WHMA-A-620E-S standards.

This job consists of electrical and mechanical assembly. May have to disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have strong ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, drawings and procedures.
- Must be able to build complex assemblies/ racks using drawings or detailed work instructions.
- Successful candidate must have strong defect recognition skills and the ability to interact with peers and support team to improve build processes.
- Proficiency in cable routing per interconnect diagrams and drawings is required.
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience building assemblies.
- Experience working with Performance Management Teams (PMTs) to identify process improvements.
- Experience working on manufacturing flow lines with multiple team members.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
