Configuration Analyst Sr/Data Management
Description:
You will be the Configuration Management Lead for the Systems Engineering Configuration Team. Our team safeguards product integrity by governing engineering change, managing document releases, and maintaining precise configuration status accounting across all programs and suppliers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Configuration Management Lead you will drive the end to end change process, chair the Configuration Change Board, and serve as the trusted advisor on the technical and programmatic impact of every engineering change. You’ll be the central hub that connects engineering, quality, manufacturing, and support to ensure every modification is documented, authorized, and traceable.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead weekly Configuration Change Board meetings, driving consensus and clear decision making.
- Review and analyze engineering change packages for technical impact, schedule risk, and cost implications.
- Create, issue, and track change orders, preparing all required authorization documentation for both internal teams and subcontractors.
- Manage the Document Release process, ensuring that all drawings, specifications, and data packages are current, controlled, and accessible.
- Oversee Data Management and Configuration Status Accounting, generating accurate reports on change effects and configuration baseline compliance.
- Coordinate modification records with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and support to guarantee seamless implementation of customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis of configuration discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain adherence to corporate configuration management policies and audit readiness.
- Mentor junior configuration staff and promote best practice standards across the organization.

Further Information About This Opportunity:
This position is in Orlando, FL.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess a Final Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Prior experience leading Configuration Change Board Meetings
- Prior experience in data management, configuration status accounting and document release process.
- Possess good computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Active Secret security clearance with latest investigation within the last 5 years.
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in SAP.
- Expertise in document release in Windchill PLM and CDRL/SDRL processing.
- Familiarity with markings (including export control markings), formatting and handling of documentation.
- Experience with SharePoint management and control
- Individual must be a self-starter, detail-oriented and capable of effectively managing multiple tasks.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
