Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Partner I (Contract) role is responsible for providing recruitment support to Sr Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers for a dedicated portfolio of both internal and external positions, in support of business needs for all Airbus U.S. locations from initial recruiting to the employee onboarding process.
Position Responsibilities:
- Interview Coordination: Schedule, reschedule, and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring managers, often managing multiple calendars.
- Job Posting & Sourcing: Prepare and post job advertisements on job boards, company websites, and social media platforms.
- Candidate Screening: Assist in reviewing resumes and conducting initial phone screens.
- Administrative Support: Maintain candidate databases in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), process background checks, and send offer letters.
- Onboarding Assistance: Prepare necessary documentation and coordinate orientation schedules for new hires.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact, ensuring all candidates receive timely updates and follow-ups.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Relevant Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Relevant Experience: No specific experience is required; HR internship or 6-12 months of other HR experience is preferred.
Performance Attributes and Capability:
- Strong desire to connect with people and provide a positive experience throughout recruitment process.
- Ability to learn and accurately articulate details about Airbus U.S. as a business, job specifications, and EEO policy.
- Ability to follow procedure and maintain process documentation.
Mobility: Travel may be required up to 10% of the time
Citizenship: US citizenship is required
Certifications: PHR preferred
Physical Capability:
- Vision: able to see and read computer screen and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents.
- Hearing: able to hear to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds including safety warnings or alarms.
- Equipment Operation: able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment.
- Carrying: able to carry documents, electronic equipment and/or supplies up to 25lbs.
- Lifting: able to lift documents, electronic equipment and/or supplies up to 25lbs.
- Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on computer.
- Squatting / Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.
- Standing: able to stand for long periods of time.
