You will be the Systems and Software Quality Engineer for the Systems and Software Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining quality processes that align with AS9100, program, and customer requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems and Software Quality Engineer to develop and maintain common processes that support high-quality software and software-based systems.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, modify, and apply quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make-and-buy products.
- Define operating criteria and audit strategies to ensure compliance with project, process, and contract requirements.
- Design and implement software development and maintenance processes, including test methods for inspection, verification, and validation.
- Evaluate and analyze software quality systems for deficiencies, ensuring measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
- Perform software product reviews, traceability verification, and support travel to program sites as needed.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from in a related discipline with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent combined education/experience
- Experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies
- Experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps) as an active team member/participant
- Experienced in Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans and facilitating RCCA events
- Ability to conduct and document process audits and evaluations.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma (LSS) principles
- Knowledge of with AS9100, ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and Standards
- Experience and/or prior background with logistics information systems programs or large scale transactional software systems
- Experienced communicator (written & verbal)
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance, after hire

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
