You will be the Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Configuration Analyst for the Systems Architecture & Configuration Management Team. Our team defines and maintains the product and system baselines, drives configuration control, and builds the tools that keep our programs on track.

What You Will Be Doing

As the MBSE Configuration Analyst you will be responsible for shaping how design changes flow through the program, ensuring every modification is captured, analyzed, and communicated clearly. You’ll work side by side with engineers, program managers, and customers to keep the configuration baseline healthy and compliant.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Apply MBSE techniques to develop and evolve system architecture models.
  • Analyze proposed design changes and assess impacts on product and system baselines.
  • Coordinate and maintain modification records within configuration management (CM) tools.
  • Prepare and present change effect reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Participate in Configuration Change Board (CCB) meetings, reviewing and evaluating engineering change data.
  • Release engineering data and synchronize changes across functional teams (e.g., structures, propulsion, software).
  • Verify that customer requirements are properly implemented and that all work complies with CM policies.
  • Design, develop, automate, and sustain productivity tools or databases that support evolving program and customer needs.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while fostering a collaborative, team first environment.

Further Information About This Opportunity:

This position is in Orlando, FL.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance with 5-year background investigation.
  • Must have experience using Product Lifecycle tools.
  • Experience writing processes and procedures.
  • Must have Configuration Change Board (CCB) experience and management of systems baselines.
  • Experience in reading and releasing engineering drawings and documentation.
  • Advance experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access): including designing, developing, automating, and maintaining Access and Excel databases.
  • Familiarity with markings, formatting and handling of documentation.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Bachelors or Master's Degree from an accredited university.
  • Must have 3 years of professional experience Bachelor's Degree.

Desired Skills:

  • Develops solutions to assigned technical problems of limited scope which require ingenuity and innovation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across diverse technical and business personnel.
  • Experience with CM of hardware/software.
  • Experience with CAMEO modeling and MBSE principles.

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level:

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
