The FBM Program is experiencing significant growth and currently seeking a Systems Engineer - Integration and Test to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.

The Systems Engineer - Integration and Test is a unique and awesome opportunity to help with the coordination and development of a new Test Program for the next generation of FBM hardware.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support requirements definition for new labs and missile tests, development of an Integrated Test Program Plan, and various levels of involvement in test execution.
  • Perform systems hardware/software integration, test planning, and execution.
  • Support the development of products needed to conduct missile hardware/software testing at factory and the launch sites.
  • Support the generation of system test requirements.
  • Have excellent organization and troubleshooting skills and be proficient in understanding hardware/software design, requirements generation, product development, test execution, and verification activities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with testing and problem solving at various levels of integration.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with one or more Systems Integration functions including:
    • System trade studies and/or System modeling.
    • Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development.
    • System Integration, Test and/or Verification.
    • Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies.
  • Experience in Space Vehicle (SV) Test Operations including the test development process, test execution, data analysis, anomaly resolution, and electrical ground test equipment.
  • Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker with the ability to select and apply appropriate systems thinking skills to solve problems and implement constructive change.
  • Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members.
  • Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate.
  • Active Top Secret.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
