You will be the Sustainment Engineer for the Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) team. Our team is responsible for restarting the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) effort and driving Low-Rate Production sustainment for the Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW), ensuring the system is reliable, maintainable, and mission-ready throughout its life-cycle.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Sustainment Engineer you will own the ILS program restart and guide low-rate production activities. You’ll work directly with Air Force partners, production staff, quality engineers, and subcontractors to turn sustainment requirements into actionable logistics-IT solutions and performance metrics that keep the ARRW on track.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary liaison with Air Force representatives to execute Interim Contractor Logistics Support (ICLS) services.
  • Developing and tracking comprehensive metrics that measure depot and supplier repair performance.
  • Translating sustainment processes into usable Logistics IT applications and tools.
  • Collaborating with USG, production operations, quality engineering, and sub-contract management to identify and resolve product issues.
  • Contributing to proposals, readiness reviews, and technical meetings so LSE considerations are fully integrated.
  • Providing timely technical guidance to the program team on sustainment engineering questions and challenges.

Further Information About This Opportunity:

This position is in Orlando, FL.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess a Final Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance with 5-year background investigation and the ability to gain Special Access Program (SAP) level access.
  • 4 Year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in ILS support on missile systems or other aerospace products.
  • Experience using 1LMX Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) transition activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access)

Desired Skills:

  • Experience planning and managing depot activities within manufacturing environment.
  • Presenting plans and program status in an Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) environment
  • Thorough knowledge of Corporate Government property management practices
  • Background in supply and logistics management systems
  • Experience leveraging sustainment principles and enterprise tools for program optimization

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
