You will be the Logistics Manager for the Production & Sustainment Logistics Team. Our team drives end-to-end logistics for international production, integration, and sustainment contracts—handling budget, schedules, transportation, material replenishment, hardware maintenance, and strict contractual compliance.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all logistics functions that keep our customer’s missions on time and on budget. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, finance, and customer support, providing proposal input, forecasting needs, and ensuring seamless data flow across internal and external systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, executing, and tracking logistics budgets and schedules for multi-national contracts.
  • Managing transportation, material replenishment, and hardware maintenance programs to meet mission-critical deadlines.
  • Applying inventory optimization models to forecast demand, control stock levels, and reduce excess cost.
  • Generating accurate status reports, metrics, and readiness dashboards for customers and senior leadership.
  • Responding to military service inquiries and providing clear, compliant provisioning determinations.
  • Maintaining asset identification fidelity within company and customer information management systems.
  • Coordinating with engineering, supply chain, and external stakeholders to resolve technical and support issues.
  • Supporting virtual and in-person customer meetings, including domestic and international travel as required.

Further Information About This Opportunity:

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated track record of sustained high performance
  • Demonstrated excellence in communicating with Senior Levels of Management as well as Customers
  • Demonstrated Problem-Solving skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills and the ability to effectively work within a diverse workforce.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software packages with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

Desired Skills:

  • Control Account Management (CAM) experience
  • ITAR export licensing and compliance experience
  • Experience with proposal/BOE development and man-power estimation
  • Ability to multi-task across multiple contracts with differing terms and conditions
  • Experience working with USG (Air Force & Navy), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) customers and contracts.
  • Demonstrated performance executing sustainment-type contract requirements to include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Test and Evaluation (T&E), Performance-Based Logistics (PBL), Basic Ordering Agreements (BOAs), and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ).
  • Ability to Travel Domestically and/or Internationally

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day workweek while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
