You will be the Senior Sustainment Engineer for the Logistics & Sustainment Engineering (LSE) team. Our team drives the life cycle support for cutting edge weapons, executing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) programs, and delivering low rate production readiness for the Air Launched Rapid Response Weapon (ARRW).

What You Will Be Doing

As the Senior Sustainment Engineer you will be responsible for restarting the ILS program and guiding low rate production activities, while serving as the technical liaison between the Air Force, government property managers, and Lockheed Martin site leads.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact with Air Force representatives to deliver Interim Contractor Logistics Support (ICLS) services.
  • Translating sustainment processes into Log IT applications that streamline data flow and reporting.
  • Partnering with U.S. Government and LM property managers to ensure strict control and accountability of government property.
  • Contributing to proposals, readiness reviews, and technical meetings so Logistics and Sustainment Engineering considerations are fully addressed.
  • Providing expert technical support to the ARRW program team, answering sustainment engineering questions and delivering actionable guidance.
  • Presenting clear, concise ICLS program status updates at Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) events.

Further Information About This Opportunity:

This position is in Orlando, FL.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be possess a current Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Secret Clearance with 5-year background investigation
  • 4 Year college degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated 3 years experience in Integrated Logistics Support on a missile program or similar aerospace product.
  • Experience with Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation planning and execution
  • Depot planning/executing within a manufacturing environment.
  • Performing system training and tech writing

Desired Skills:

  • Presenting program status to internal/external USG customers
  • Thorough knowledge of Corporate Government property management practices
  • Background in supply and logistics management systems
  • Experience leveraging sustainment principles and enterprise tools for program optimization

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level:

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
