Description: You will be the Subcontract Management Staff for the Advanced Programs team. Our team is responsible for delivering cutting‑edge missile and fire‑control solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Management Staff you will be responsible for overseeing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on complex subcontracts, leading cross‑functional teams, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate‑to‑high‑risk subcontracts.

Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and exercise procurement delegation authority.

Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for specialized materials and services.

Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, evaluate proposals, and negotiate subcontract provisions.

Administer awarded subcontracts and oversee change activities throughout development and sustainment.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications: - Must have an active secret clearance

- Prior experience with procurement, supply chain, and/or subcontracts on US Government programs.

-Ability to interface effectively with Sr. Management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives.

- Experience with Cost Plus, Fixed Price, and T&M subcontract types.

- The selected candidates must be willing to work onsite >50% of the time. Desired Skills: - Demonstrated problem solving skills, business acumen and ability to make business-based decisions.

- Experience managing development complex subcontracts.

- Demonstrated experience leading cross-function Supplier Management Teams.

- Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / LMAP / and MFC Work Instructions.

-Experience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within the Defense industry.

- Experience with LM Procure to Pay, SC Navigator, and 1LMX S4 HANA.

- Control Account Management (CAM) experience. Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
