You will be the Subcontract Management for the Subcontract Management team. Our team is responsible for managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on complex DOD subcontracts.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Management you will be responsible for overseeing subcontract execution, ensuring compliance, and driving performance across the supply chain.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage cost, schedule, and technical performance of classified supplier subcontracts.
  • Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Develop and negotiate subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms.
  • Prepare bid packages, conduct bidder conferences, and evaluate proposals.
  • Administer awarded subcontracts, including change management and compliance.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related STEM discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with FAR/DFARS and multiple contract types (e.g., Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm Fixed Price, Time and Materials) as applied to subcontract procurement and compliance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance (or higher) for work with classified suppliers.

Desired Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead cross functional subcontract management teams and exercise procurement delegation authority (signing supplier agreements and purchase orders) within established limits.
  • Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) or other cost control methodologies to subcontract performance.
  • Advanced proficiency with contract management systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement, or equivalent) and the ability to generate cost risk and compliance reports for senior leadership.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
