You will be the Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager for our dynamic team. Our team is responsible for driving technical excellence, affordability, and program execution, while supporting department initiatives and directorate undertakings.
What You Will Be Doing
As the E&T Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team, while supporting functional initiatives and driving technical excellence. You will play a critical role in shaping the team's direction, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring program success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical coaching and mentoring to team members
- Assigning work, developing employee careers, and offering ongoing feedback
- Coordinating employee recruitment, selection, and training
- Conducting performance assessments, salary planning, and recognition/disciplinary actions
- Developing engineering competencies and promoting customer focus
- Supporting program development, execution, and adherence to engineering development processes

Basic Qualifications:
- Engineering management or Engineering team lead experience including task planning, budget management, subcontract management and/or employee development and mentoring
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams
- Full Lifecycle Development Experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical systems/programs
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Extensive experience working specifically in a engineering role focused on Structural & Dynamics analysis.
- Experience leading structural analysis efforts, including defining tasks and executing to schedules
- Extensive finite element modeling experience with related application software such as ANSA, Nastran, Abaqus, NX, FEMAP, Patran, and/or HyperMesh.
- Final secret clearance
Desired Skills:
- Prior Engineering Management Experience
- Proposal Development Experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE) Development
- Control Account Manager (CAM) experience;
- Earned Value Management Experience
- Experience as a structural analysis team lead, defining tasks for team members and serving as a mentor to junior employees
- Experience in hardware and development.
- Extensive professional, hands-on experience providing structural analysis support for product.
- Extensive knowledge in the following static and dynamic analysis: Stress Analysis, Modal analysis, Shock analysis, Vibration analysis, test support and model correlation
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
