Sr. Quality Engineer - Orlando, FL
Description: You will be the Sr. Quality Engineer for the Optical Components Center. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of production deliveries to customers and supporting the Quality Automation Team.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Sr. Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving quality excellence in optics manufacturing and advancing automation solutions.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Develop and review quality standards, methods, and work instructions for optics inspection.
Design and implement automated vision and robotic inspection solutions.
Perform statistical analysis of test results to assess risk and drive corrective actions.
Lead Failure Review Boards and participate in Material Review Boards.
Ensure compliance with ISO‑9001 / AS9100 standards through audits and process assessments.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline, or equivalent combined education/experience
GD&T Experience
SAP Experience
APRISO Experience
Root Cause Analysis experience (Cause Mapping, 5-Why, Fishbone, etc.)
Experience conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) to AS9102
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of Quality Standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection
Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance Desired Skills: Manufacturing Environment Experience
Green or Black Belt Certification
AS9102 interpretation and application experience
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
First Article Inspection experience
Optics Experience
Audit experience
Demonstrated Presentation skills
