Description:
You will be the Contracts Management Sr Manager supporting the Advanced Programs (AP) Line of Business (LOB) Contracts team. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for delivering high impact contract solutions across the 21st Century Security & Cyber Security Emerging Technology (21CS/CSET), Air Dominance & Strike Weapons Advanced Programs (ADSWAP), AP Innovation Cell / Development & Demos (AP IC/DD), and Sensors & Global Sustainment Advanced Programs (S&GS AP) product area portfolios at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) located in Orlando, Florida.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Contracts Management Sr Manager you will be responsible for leading a dynamic group of contract professionals and shaping contract strategy for some of our most technically demanding programs.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead a team of Contract Administrators through end-to-end contract execution, from proposal support to closeout.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers to capture new business opportunities.
- Provide strategic contracting advice, risk assessments, and alternative approaches to senior leadership.
- Serve as the primary liaison with Government contracting officers and DCMA, safeguarding compliance and Lockheed Martin’s interests.
- Ensure contractual compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and adhere to delegation of authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions.
- Verify that final contract documents accurately reflect the agreements reached during negotiations.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must be an experienced leader
- Experience providing strategic and sound business advice to senior leadership
- Experience with multiple types of USG contracts, for example: CPFF, T&M, FPIF or FFP
- Experience working with Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs).
- Experience leading contract negotiations and identifying contractual risks / understanding the financial implications
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and strategically with functional and program counterparts to drive business results
- Knowledge and documented application of acquisition regulations (FAR & DFARS)
- Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
Desired Skills:
- Active Secret and/or Top Secret Clearance.
- Experienced working in classified program environments.
- Strong familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARs).
- Experience working independently and in a team situation.
- The ability to exercise initiative, participate in strategy development, and work in an independent manner.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience with Research & Development (R&D) programs.
- Experience working with Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs) and other non-traditional contract and agreement types.
- Experience providing strategic and sound business advice to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively and strategically with functional and program counterparts to drive business results.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
