Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a SLS Core Stage Executive Assistant (Level 3) to join the Space Launch Systems (SLS) Project Management team in Kennedy Space Center, FL!

This role will provide primary executive assistant interface with leadership by leading and integrating aspects of the leadership team's operations and deliverables, including Operating Rhythm, Org Optimization/Metrics, Performance Metrics/KPI’s, Lean/productivity & Optimization, process improvements, and Program Management Best Practices. Additionally, the role will ensure clear communication up, down, and across the organization on important topics, integrate with programs and functions as required to accomplish all business unit goals.

To be successful in this position, the selected candidate must be able to support multiple leaders at the executive level, have an agile mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and a positive and flexible attitude. Progressive outlook, problem solving abilities, and strong Seek, Speak and Listen behaviors will be required. Occasional travel may also be required.

Position Responsibilities:

Support in the development and execution of strategy, communications, and operating rhythm

Facilitates communication and collaborative efforts

Ensures organizational alignment with Boeing processes, Program Management Best Practices, and compliance requirements

Supports Leader in various meetings (both internal and external) to ensure that meetings are running efficiently and to ensure that meeting actions are tracked through to completion

Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case

Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies

Strong time management, collaboration, decision-making, and leadership strengths in written and verbal communications

Leads special projects and ensures coordination, implementation, and execution are successful on behalf of leadership

Fosters effective working relationships with Program leadership, functional partners, customer counterparts and is embedded into the business

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

This is a NASA safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams

Proficiency and experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

3+ year of experience working with Project management skills, and ability to drive performance to plan and results

3+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Experience with NASA Space programs or a related Space or Defense program

Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external) and government customers and representatives

Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

Summary pay range: $94,350 - $127,650
