Site Reliability Engineer, Mid

As a Site Reliability Engineer on our team, you’ll develop more robust systems for Veterans by building a resilient infrastructure. You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair. This is your chance to leverage your expertise in cloud technologies while supporting your team of engineers and acting as a subject matter expert for your clients.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience working with key indicators for IT system operability, reliability, application performance, or code quality
• Experience deploying, maintaining, or troubleshooting complex applications at enterprise scale
• Experience operating Linux workloads in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with CI/CD, including Git, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
• Experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and PagerDuty
• Experience with application performance monitoring using Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with container orchestration platforms, including Kubernetes, AWS ECS, or AWS EKS, and container registries
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
