Security Representative, Associate Manager (TS Clearance Required)
Description:
Manage the DISS/JVS and Escalation Team within the LMSecurity Operations Center (LMSOC).
This role has enterprise-wide responsibility for assisting with the management of security clearance operations and processing for the corporation; and for leading security professionals working within Lockheed Martin's consolidated Security Clearance Center.
The selected candidate will also serve as Lockheed Martin's primary liaison/interface with the United States Government regarding personnel security clearance matters and be responsible for the following:
- Collaborate in a team environment with multiple security disciplines.
- Interpret and implement government security requirements; and understand government methodologies, practices, and technologies with an emphasis on personnel security.
- Identify and support internal and external customer needs and incorporate them into business processes.
The selected candidate will also be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Provide direction for team daily operations and work assignments; review work for soundness of judgment, overall quality, and efficiency (in concert with, or in the absence of team leads)
- Ensure that projects are completed following established procedures and schedules
- Oversee the preparation of process maps and Standard Operating Practices
- Manage the coordination of subordinate employee recruitment, selection, and training, which will include contractor labor
- US Citizenship Required
- Top Secret Clearance
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must be results-oriented; capable of effectively working, leading, and managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Experience with DISS
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required.
- Candidate will be required to identify areas of concern and raise issues to leadership as appropriate.
- Please be Process Oriented
- Prior Experience in a Customer Service-related role
- Proven ability to interpret and implement U.S. Government security requirements
- Must be able to obtain Interim Top Secret to start

Ability to Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day workweek while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
