Typical Duties
- Provide subject matter expertise, leadership and direction to technicians and system administrators that maintain analog, digital and Internet Protocol (IP) communications systems and networks.
- Provide day-to-day coordination with operations personnel, management, and government representative(s) to make certain all operations are properly supported.
- Ensure all scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance actions are completed on schedule.
- Ensure the team remains current in all training requirements.
- Prepare and provide system status reports and briefings as required.
- Interface with all Western Range (WR) resources, management, appropriate government stakeholders and contractors to ensure continuity of information for SFRC performance and Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
- Provide discipline as required in accordance with company policy and Teamsters collective bargaining agreements.
- Oversee special projects as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Minimum of five years’ experience working in a technically disciplined environment.
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience preferred.
- Experience working with a Collective Bargaining Agreement and represented personnel, preferred.
- Ability to cultivate and foster a mission success operational culture based on a team-oriented methodology.
- Professional communication skills at all levels to include effective meeting leadership.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
- Perform as a subject matter expert on assigned systems and networks
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Salary and Other Compensation
- The annual starting salary for this position is between $110,000–$120,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
