You will be the Material Planning & Supplier Support Associate Manager for the Sniper/LANTIRN Program Materials Team. Our team drives end to end material and replenishment planning, steers obsolescence management, and delivers seamless supplier support for both domestic and international Sniper/LANTIRN customers.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Material Planning & Supplier Support Associate Manager you will own the full material planning lifecycle, translate program goals into actionable supply chain plans, and lead a high performing team that partners with engineering, program management, logistics, and other stakeholders to keep the fleet flying.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a four person team focused on collaboration and performance excellence.
  • Partnering with cross functional partners (Engineering, Program Management, Logistics, etc.) to align material plans with program objectives.
  • Managing multiple contracts for a diverse customer base while applying expertise in obsolescence mitigation, supplier coordination, and inventory optimization.
  • Coordinating with Engineering on new design introductions, obsolescence strategies, and failure mode analyses to guarantee timely parts availability.
  • Overseeing budgeting, scheduling, and consumption analytics to maintain optimal stock levels and control costs.
  • Driving demand forecasting and parts consumption analysis to ensure high level customer satisfaction worldwide.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for supplier engagement, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicating status, risks, and opportunities clearly to senior leadership and program stakeholders.

Further Information About This Opportunity:

This position is in Orlando, FL.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have direct Logistics & Sustainment Engineering Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college
  • Demonstrated track record of sustained high performance with a minimum of 5 years of Sustainment experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse workforce
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Strong Computer Skills including MS Office

Desired Skills:

  • Supply Support/Stock Control background
  • Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
  • Familiar with components and/or parts management
  • Experience in managing LSE personnel
  • Experience with proposal/BOE development and manpower estimation
  • Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated performance executing sustainment type contract requirements to include Firm Fixed Price, Test and Evaluation, Performance Based Logistics, Basic Ordering Agreements, and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
