Project Engineer Sr – Electrical CAD Capability (DX)

The FBM Digital Capabilities Organization is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer Sr to support the Digital Transformation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and distribution of Digital Transformation capabilities, specifically in the “Electrical” domain, to the FBM Program. Focused on driving commonality and 1LMX adoption within the electrical engineering domain, this individual will help perpetuate the adoption of higher Data Set Rating (DSR) ECAD (Electrical Computer-Aided Design) models for both Harness and CCA design, identify processes for integration to other engineering artifacts in the digital thread, and other ECAD capability development. This role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to relay complex concepts to a variety of audiences (end users to senior leadership) and lead/motivate cross-functional teams in accomplishing a common goal. This will include modernization as well as transformation efforts across the FBM Program lifecycle at all sites (SWFPAC, SWFLANT, ER, Denver, Valley Forge, Courtland, Titusville, and Sunnyvale). The FBM Digital Transformation team is looking for motivated individuals that can deliver high quality capabilities and communicate effectively to help bridge the program from its "legacy of yesterday" to its future of "development and sustainment" for continual improvement throughout the lifecycle of the program. This role would benefit from an individual with prior experience in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Manufacturing, utilizing Zuken E3, Cadence PSpice, and/or Siemens Xpedition software suites.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Demonstrated experience in Electrical Engineering (ECAD), with focus in Harness and/or CCA design
- Demonstrated familiarity with LM Data Set Ratings, as pertaining to Electrical Design
- Experience working on a team and by yourself, interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines, and developing/presenting technical briefings
- Experience in project/program management methods, with proven success in executing PM responsibilities
- Ability to gain Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity Zuken E3 and/or Siemens Xpedition Electrical CAD/modeling software
- Understanding of LM 1LMX and/or FBM Digital Transformation initiatives, strategies, and methods
- Successful deployment and demonstration of LM 1LMX and FBM Digital Transformation initiatives/projects
- Experience with FBM Digital Program Architecture and Transformation Pursuits Process
- Active Secret Clearance, with ability to gain Top-Secret

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
