Description: You will be the Program Quality Engineering Manager for the LRASM AGM‑158 Strike Weapon Program. Our team is responsible for delivering world‑class quality engineering leadership and continuous‑improvement across the program.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Program Quality Engineering Manager you will be responsible for shaping the quality strategy, driving data‑based improvements, and guiding a high‑performing team.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Lead strategic quality engineering initiatives across the LRASM AGM‑158 Strike Weapon Program.

Develop and implement processes that optimize program execution while mitigating risk.

Partner with Integrated Product Teams to embed quality standards and drive continuous improvement.

Establish and maintain a Program Quality Management System compliant with AS9100 and customer requirements.

Mentor and develop talent, managing staffing and budget to sustain high‑performing quality operations.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelors level degree or higher in STEM

Must have a current secret clearance with an investigation date within 5 years. Program access privileges will be a requirement requiring additional vetting

Advanced understanding of Quality principles in Aerospace industry

Experience managing the development, modification, application and maintenance of quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product

Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material

Effective presentation skills, ability to develop messages, training and compelling strategies resulting in diverse teams implementing and executing new solutions

Experience working with Government customers

Experienced as a team lead and facilitator

Must have the ability to travel Desired Skills: Experience in quality Engineering manufacturing operations and supplier quality roles

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification

ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)

Advanced AS9100 and AS9102 Interpretation and application experience

Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) technical experience

Experienced in Bid, Proposal and Estimating practices and development of Quality Assurance Basis of Estimates (BOE)

Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM)

Familiar with requirements for handling and control of Government Furnished Equipment/Property during field, ground or operational tests

Ability to influence outcomes

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain and all other stakeholders Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
