Program Manager, F-35 Maintenance Systems Development - Level 6
Description:
The F-35 Maintenance Systems Development Program Manager is a key leadership position ensuring Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) maturation to enable the readiness and effectiveness of the F-35 fleet. Key responsibilities include:
- Program Capture: Lead capture efforts to ensure continued maintenance systems product maturation to support the F-35 fleet. This includes collaborating with customers on requirements development, ensuring timely and accurate proposals and effectively negotiating through contract award.
- Program Execution: Manage cost, schedule and technical delivery of the Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract and follow on contracts.
- Program Excellence: Develop and implement program plans that enable successful product delivery in an agile framework. This involves thorough planning and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure customer need definition, clear prioritization, and contracting alignment.
- Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop strategic plans that enable rapid maintenance systems capability delivery aligned with the needs of the F-35 fleet. This involves understanding the broader objectives of the F-35 program and collaborating with the F-35 JPO and Lockheed Martin team members to develop plans aligned with these F-35 enterprise objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Program management experience
- Demonstrated business acumen to include experience in EVMS and performance metrics
- Strong risk and opportunity management skills
- Experience working with matrix organizations in executing and proposing programs
- Active Secret Clearance with a completed investigation within the last 5 years
Desired Skills:
- Agile development experience
- Experience influencing and driving results as a change agent
- Strategy development and implementation experience
- Experience identifying, influencing and building strong relationships with decision makers, and maintaining long-term customer intimacy
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including ability to address complex matters / solutions with senior leaders
- Proven track record of supporting programs with large and complex systems
- Knowledge of F-35 Program including knowledge of fifth generation fighter programs
- Experience working with international and military customers
- Possess secret/SAR clearance with all necessary F-35 caveats
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
