Description:
You will be the Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager for the Microelectronics Center team. Our team is responsible for managing a diverse group of Make Hardware Representatives and Material Processors to ensure seamless product flow across multiple programs in the Missiles and Fire Control – Orlando Microelectronics Center.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading daily coordination between manufacturing, engineering, and quality to meet changing priorities and schedule milestones.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate daily activities with manufacturing, engineering, and quality counterparts.
- Provide status updates to all levels of management.
- Attend and contribute to program and manufacturing meetings.
- Assign personnel to support internal operation plans and critical schedule milestones.
- Report directly to the Orlando Site PP&C Senior Manager.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Understand the management of budgets.
- Ability to assign projects to organizational unit by leading staff to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and time sensitive technical or operational issues.
- Green Belt certified OR ability to demonstrate knowledge and principles of green belt certification put into practice
- Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of Management, industry peers, and internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
- Related experience in material handling, control systems and ERP systems (SAP)
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in a related field
- Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
- Make Planning experience
- SAP Materials Management and Inventory Control Subject Matter Expert
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
- APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
- Knowledge and understanding of APRISO

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
