Mid-Level Production Coordinator

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Production Coordinator (Level C) to join our team at Kennedy Space Center, FL!

Position Responsibilities:

Expedites material to the production floor.

Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc.

Monitors and analyzes work in process.

Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems.

Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to insure parts availability.

Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy.

Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.

Works under limited supervision.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Candidates must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ year of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment.

Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift.

Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift.

Experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience working in a computer-based inventory management system or warehouse management system.

Experience working on NASA programs.

Experience in supply chain concepts and best-practices.

Conflict of Interest:

Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Shift:

Candidates must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.

NASA Access:

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. This is a NASA safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $53,550 - $72,450 USD
