You will be a Manufacturing Planner Associate for the Production Planning and Control organization. Our team is responsible for driving program planning and manufacturing operations to meet business objectives.
What You Will Be Doing As a Manufacturing Planner, you will be responsible for overseeing program planning and manufacturing planning activities, ensuring effective management of production schedules, material procurement, and workflow prioritization. Your responsibilities will include: • Monitoring and managing production schedules, material procurement, and workflow prioritization • Coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management • Ensuring data integrity in the MRP system and effective management of kit issues and hardware needs • Implementing and managing engineering and process changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Providing status reports and analyzing production data to inform business decisions • Working collaboratively with manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering team members to prioritize workflow Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer, Business, Operations Management or related major. • Knowledge of lean manufacturing • SAP ERP experience Desired Skills: • Past experience with Buy Planning, Manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience • Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS) • Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including: experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas • Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists; Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs • ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification; Ability to obtain Green belt certification Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
