You will be the Inspection Supervisor Senior for the Inspection Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance across multiple centers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Inspection Supervisor Senior you will be responsible for leading a team of inspectors, coordinating training, and driving continuous improvement in inspection processes.
In this role you will:
- Coordinate subordinate employee training, performance assessment, work assignments, and recognition / disciplinary actions.
- Understand workflow and daily production requirements.
- Plan and direct daily work for inspectors.
- Ensure ongoing cross training needs are met.
- Support recruitment and hiring of inspectors
- Participate in internal audits affecting the inspection team.
- Engage in resolving daily floor issues with production operations working independently with minimal oversight.
- Integrate with Production team in troubleshooting area quality inspection execution deficiencies / resources.
- Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.

Basic Qualifications:
- Degree at the Bachelor level or above or equivalent education / experience
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Demonstrated supervision experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work weekly weekend overtime to complete inspection time cards and perform weekend rotational overtime to support center weekend overtime priorities related to inspection
- Ability to report to work at the scheduled start time of 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM
Desired Skills:
- Previous inspection aerospace supervision experience in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge or experience in engineering drawing interpretation
- Prior compliance / corrective action experience
- Experience working and leading in a union environment
- Strong prioritization, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
