Job Description

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an experienced Executive Administrator to support the Vice President, Contracts for Space and Mission Systems. The ideal candidate will excel in complexity, anticipate needs, and operate with discretion, urgency, and precision, while being a collaborative partner.

Essential Functions

Executive Support

  • Optimize complex calendars, proactively resolving conflicts and discerning executive priorities with sound judgment
  • Coordinate sophisticated travel arrangements, including international itineraries that may require visa processing and security protocols
  • Prepare comprehensive meeting materials, agendas, and briefing documents
  • Process expense reports with accuracy and timeliness

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Track action items and deliverables across multiple initiatives
  • Support cross-functional alignment on key projects and deadlines
  • Coordinate events, meetings, and strategic planning sessions
  • Proactively identify potential roadblocks and escalate appropriately

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate with a team of executive administrators across the organization to ensure seamless support
  • Coordinate across multiple business segments and functional areas
  • Build and maintain a network across the organization

Organizational Intelligence

  • Maintain awareness of organizational changes, priorities, and strategic initiatives
  • Support communication plans to ensure team alignment and information flow
  • Serve as a trusted resource for organizational knowledge and navigation
  • Anticipate downstream impacts of decisions and proactively address them

Operational Excellence

  • Support general office operations including supply ordering and administrative coverage
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems

Qualifications

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience; Or, 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
  • 5+ years supporting C-suite or VP-level executives in a corporate environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Additional Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or government contracting environments
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle, procurement processes, or program management
  • Experience in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise discretion, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information
  • Professional presence and confidence to interact effectively across all organizational levels
  • Self-directed work style with the ability to prioritize and deliver against deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience arranging complex international travel with optimized itineraries
  • Track record of implementing process improvements that increased executive effectiveness
