We are looking for a driven and curious Structural Engineer to support our Built Environment team.

As a key member of our Orlando, FL office, you’ll get to grow your skills and join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery designing state of the art Structures. You’ll have the opportunity to grow professionally through challenging projects and working closely with our multi-discipline design teams, Senior Structural Engineers, and our clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a Structural emphasis
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of US building codes including FBC/IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC

Preferred Qualifications

  • A 3.0 GPA
  • Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or experience through internships or work that include design experience with concrete, steel, wood, masonry, and/or foundations
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
  • Experience with commercial Structural Engineering software such as RAM, STAAD, RISA, and SAP, or similar general-purpose finite element analysis and design software
  • Familiarity with industry drafting software such as AutoCAD or Revit
