You will be the Contract Management Manager for the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) team. Our team is responsible for delivering high impact contracts that enable revolutionary defense systems and safeguard lives worldwide.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Contract Management Manager you will be responsible for leading the contracts management function across the full contract lifecycle—capture, proposal, negotiations, award, and administration—while supervising a skilled team of contract professionals.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the end-to-end contract lifecycle from capture to award and administration
  • Supervise and mentor a team of contract professionals
  • Negotiate and finalize contract terms with partners and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements
  • Drive strategic initiatives that support mission-critical programs

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires selected candidate to possess ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with US Government and/or classified customers and contracts
  • Experience with contract negotiations
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and documented application of acquisition regulations (FAR & DFARS)
  • Ability to effectively lead a team
  • Focus on developing talent and training staff
  • Proposal preparation experience

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience problem solving, including identifying issues and developing solutions
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure
  • Demonstrates emotional intelligence, positivity, and enthusiasm leading a team and working collaboratively with key stakeholders
  • Multi-Year Procurement (MYP) experience preferred
  • Secret clearance preferred

Ability to Work Remotely:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
