CM/CSM 5 Production Integrator

Description:

The Production Integrator plays a critical role in the program by leading the tactical execution team on the floor, known as the Vehicle Integration Team (VIT). The Production Integrator is an independent and capable Engineer that can lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers through the assembly process of their assigned VIT.

Specific Job Duties:

  • This is primarily a 1st shift position but can require occasional support on alternate shifts
  • Raise awareness for schedule impacts
  • Work cross-functionally with all areas of the program to support integration of vehicle assembly
  • Schedule vehicle assembly with evolving priorities
  • Adjudicate any parts or engineering issues that arise during integration efforts
  • Document issues and work to resolve them with applicable stakeholders
  • Maintain a lessons learned database
  • This position is supporting the CM/CSM 5 VIT Team at KSC ATLO Orion

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Must be able to understand engineering specifications
  • Must be able to understand work instructions
  • Must be able to understand production requirements
  • Must be able to understand test requirements
  • Must be a United States citizen

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of 6 sigma processes
  • Self starter
  • Knowledge in aerospace processes
  • Experience in Microsoft Project
  • Minimum of 1 year of Orion experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
