Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a Program Quality Engineer Associate Manager for a position based in Orlando, Florida. The Quality professional will be responsible for leading and reporting up through the Multi Domain Missile Systems program area with primary support for the JAGM Missile program. Responsibilities include leading the Program Quality team and the implementation and execution of program and quality strategies and objectives to meet requirements and achieve mission success as well as ensuring flow-down and execution of all Quality Contract requirements and ensuring Quality functional support to the programs.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Associate Manager - Program Quality Engineering you will be responsible for leading the Program Quality team and implementing quality strategies to ensure mission success.

As the JAGM Program Quality Associate Manager, you will provide leadership to all functions of Quality including Systems & Software, Hardware, and Supplier Quality Engineering through active engagement with program IPTs and program business rhythm, identification and implementation of process improvement efforts, cross-functional collaboration, and in the corresponding Quality activities and initiatives including but not limited to:

  • Root cause analysis
  • 1LMX Systems usage and improvement recommendations
  • DD250 support
  • CAB support
  • FRB support
  • MRB processing and support
  • Risks and Opportunities management support
  • Defect identification and processing
  • Metrics analysis
  • Key customer interface with TAGM and DCMA
  • Travel (25% or less) in support of production, suppliers, and customer meetings as required.
  • Drive process improvement, root cause analysis, and metrics analysis.
  • Partner with cross‑functional IPTs, customers, and suppliers, supporting travel as needed.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experience and a Bachelors STEM degree or higher or equivalent combined experience/education
  • Experience in Program Corrective Action Board (CAB), Failure Review Board (FRB), and Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Quality experience or related/ equivalent experience in a test or production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability of partnering abilities, working with cross-functional teams and external customers.
  • Knowledge of Quality systems, demonstrated use of standard problem solving, data analysis, and root cause skills.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Lean Six Sigma project work; Green Belt/Black Belt
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102
  • Working knowledge of Apriso
  • Knowledge of SAP/S4 Hana
  • Knowledge of Configuration and Data Mgt

  • Knowledge of Electrical Assembly Standards
  • Previous Missile experience

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
