Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for an Associate Industrial Security Analyst to join our team based out of Melbourne, Florida. Candidates with experience in Physical Security, Law Enforcement Investigations, Counterintelligence (CI), Human Intelligence (HUMINT) or as an Intelligence Analyst are encouraged to apply.
The selected candidate will have the responsibility of developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment in a fast-paced, high-profile portfolio of programs.
In this role, the selected candidate will:
- Develop and maintain methodologies to detect unusual behavior, identify suspicious trends and potential breaches
- Conduct in-depth investigations when anomalies, behavior, trends or potential breaches are identified
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess risk, and determine mitigation strategies
- Conduct focused and timely interviews to collect information of value
- Prepare detailed reports and assessments from findings to senior management
- Develop and present training and awareness briefings to workforce
- Maintain accountability of classified material or classified media
- Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP access through queries to government security databases and systems
- Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers
- Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree OR 4 years of security experience will be considered in-lieu of a degree
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret Clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company
- Your ability to obtain and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Top Secret Clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company
- Candidate must be a US Citizen
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong technical writing and briefing skills
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Operational experience in Counterintelligence, Human Intelligence or Intelligence Analyst roles
- Operational experience in Law Enforcement Investigations
- Experience with DISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar data bases
- Working knowledge of SAP and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance
- Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion
- Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Compensation and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $81,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
