Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Administrative Assistant 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
Position Description:
Provide administrative support to the Engineering Directors and team of over 500 employees for the Dev Ops Lab Test & SW team. Admin will be responsible for daily support of various tasks provided by the leadership team.
- Such tasks include Concur travel booking, expense reports, outlook calendar meeting coordination and planning.
- Responsible for creating power point presentations and excel files as needed so strong Microsoft Office skills desired.
- Maintain action items and notes during meetings.
- Support quarterly meetings with customers, organize and reserve conference rooms, plan coffee and meal as needed.
- Responsible for running the computer and agenda for daily staff meetings as necessary and other leadership level meetings.
- Responsible for maintaining building 230 seating and office supplies the team needs to complete their daily tasks.
- Support planning team engagement activities for the systems test team.
- Our admins are very engaged with all employees and is to support and help answer questions as needed.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school Diploma or GED and 4+ years’ experience working in a customer support type role or administrative assistant
- Basic proficiency with MS Office tools Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word (ability to open and operate)
- Active US Government Secret clearance (or higher) that has been granted or renewed within the last 6 years or is under continuous evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) as determined by business needs.
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs. daily (restocking printer paper for team)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret or SAP clearance is preferred
- Experience with Facilities Seating Floor Plans and Move Matrix
- Experience working with travel agencies to coordinate itineraries for domestic and international travel
- Concur Software experience (Travel/Expense Software Program)
- Experience in planning, coordinating and overseeing catering for corporate meetings
- Strong ability to multi-task with competing priorities in a positive manner
Salary and Benefits
Primary Level Salary Range: $48,400.00 - $80,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
